Andy applied for a Critical Care/Trauma fellowship recently. This is a one year school that will teach him how to be an exceptional Intensive Care Nurse. We have been telling everyone that we'd probably move to St Louis or San Antonio. I thought these were the only options but apparently there was a third option - Bethesda, Maryland! So that is where we will be moving in March. WOW! That's fast - I know. We are very excited. :)

| Bethesda is right above Washington D.C. |
Before we moved to Travis AFB, everyone we met who had been here said "Oh, you'll love it there.", and for the very most part that is true. In the few days since we received this info we are getting the same answer from people. The kids took the news extremely well, they are ready for an adventure. New house, cross country road trip, living near Auntie Alyssa, museums... these were just a few of the things mentioned by them.
I would have preferred to tell each one of you this news personally but that would be impossible. We are incredibly fortunate to have so many loved ones who support our family but one of the few down sides is information sharing. :) So, off we go into the wild blue yonder! Bring on the frequent flier miles.

I just had to defuse an emotional upset from AJ. He asked if the movers were going to take his bed to Maryland, I said yes. He asked how many guys it would take working together to get it out to the truck. I just flippantly said "Oh, don't worry, they'll take it apart first."
Then he really cried and said "No, MOM! I don't want them to do that. My bed is really important to me." Only after I explained that taking large furniture apart was the best way to move it did he stop crying and gave a tentative "Okay."
I totally understand AJ. Beds and sleep are not to be toyed with.
That is awesome! I think you'll love it. I'm not sure that we will stay in, but I was really hoping Jason would end up going to his Captains Career Course in VA. Not too far away from D.C.
