Rite of Passage

Today Abigail got her ears pierced!

She has been asking about this for 2 years. I was able to hold her off with the stick on type of 'earrings' for this long; only because I was afraid she would resist the after care. Well, when we saw that Amia had earrings Andy & I had the same thought which was "that pretty much seals it for Abigail - it won't be long now." So the pursuit became heavy this weekend, she nailed us down with "when??" I was able to get the appointment at my salon for today.
Abigail was a champ! Two of the gals did it simultaneously so it was done and over with. She clenched up and gritted her teeth and that was it for reaction! Unless you count the screams of excitement that immediately followed her first glimpse in the mirror!
